Ο χρήστης
Ο χρήστης εισπράττει και νιώθει το δηµιουργικό πνεύµα του µελετητή. Οι κοµψές επιφάνειες, οι καθαρές γραµµές, τα σωστά τοποθετηµένα χειριστήρια, και τα επιλεγµένα υλικά είναι αποτέλεσµα µελέτης και έρευνας του σχεδιαστή. Υπάρχουν σταθερές εσωτερικές σχέσεις ανάµεσα στις επιφάνειες συστήνοντας ένα σύστηµα µε δοµή εξασφαλίζοντας όµως την ιδιαιτερότητα και την ταυτότητα που ζητείται από τον χώρο. Σε µια ενιαία ενότητα, σε ένα συγκεκριµένο κέλυφος, κάθε υποενότητα διαµορφώνει τον δικό της χώρο, και λειτουργεί, «δουλεύει» µέσα από τους δικούς του κανόνες. Για να διατηρηθεί η δοµή του χώρου, οφείλει ο σχεδιαστής να προσδώσει τις σωστές αναλογίες, να διατηρήσει τις απαιτούµενες αποστάσεις, σύµφωνα µε τους άξονες κίνησης και τα όρια του χώρου. Όσα περισσότερα όµως στοιχεία επιθυµεί ο χρήστης για τον εκάστοτε χώρο τόσο πιο δύσκολα συνθέτονται µεταξύ τους όλα τα στοιχεία. Ο σχεδιαστής καθορίζει τις σχέσεις και τις αναλογίες στον χώρο ώστε να επιτυγχάνεται η βέλτιστη λειτουργικότητα µέσα σε κάθε ενότητα. Τα υλικά, οι σχέσεις µεταξύ τους είτε σαν απόσταση, είτε σαν υφή συνδέονται πάντοτε µεταξύ τους, προκαλώντας τις αισθήσεις, διαµορφώνοντας τον χαρακτήρα του χώρου αλλά και του χρήστη συνθέτοντας µια µοναδική εικόνα.
The user
The user feels the creative spirit of the studier. Elegant surfaces, clean lines, properly placed handles and the selected materials are the result of study and research carried out by the designer. There are constant inner relations connecting the surfaces and thus forming a system with structure, while at the same time securing the particularity and unique identity required for an area. In a unified section, in a specific shell, each subsection forms its own space and functions, “works”, through its own rules. In order to maintain the structure of the area, the de- signer has to give the correct proportions, keep the necessary distances following the axes of movement and the limits of the area. However, the more elements the user wishes to add to a certain area the harder it gets to combine them beautifully. The designer defines the relations and the scale in the area in order to achieve optimal functionality within each section. The materials, the relations established between them either in terms of distance or texture are always interconnected and this is how they sharpen the senses, giving the area and the user some character and making up a unique picture.
